Thanks for the reply,Peter the Blacksmith. I'm not exactly sure how the shop recalibrated. I know that they didn't use a jet-kit. they used what they had on hand to recalibrate original carb.i guess I should asked more questions on exactly what was done.Anyway, the K&N filter does it have a specific model # or do they make one for savage,any other modification such as breather box etc.?Yes I could change oil more often. should I use different oil for winter riding?
